Silicone Oils & Emulsions
Technical silicone derivatives for surface properties, lubricity, gloss, hydrophobic effect and process performance.
Scope & Sub-topics
Silicone oil is a synthetic polymer with a chemical silicon–oxygen (Si–O) backbone. Its most common form is known as PDMS (Polydimethylsiloxane).
Silicone oils are high-performance, chemically stable, multi-purpose specialty fluids. Thanks to their ability to work across a wide temperature range and to provide superior lubricity and protection on surfaces, they are widely preferred in industrial and commercial applications.
–[Si(CH₃)₂–O]ₙ–
-
Silicon (Si) → originates from quartz/sand
-
Oxygen (O) → bonds with silicon to form the strong Si–O chain.
OH-polymer oils, thanks to the reactive hydroxyl (-OH) groups at both ends of the polymer chain, are the main building block of room-temperature-curing (RTV) silicone systems. With high purity and various viscosity options, we add functionality and durability to your production processes.
HO−[Si(CH3)2−O]n−H
-
Reactive End Groups: the hydroxyl (-OH) groups at both ends of the chain are the active sites that enable room-temperature curing (RTV) of the polymer.
-
Polymer Backbone: the central silicon–oxygen (Si-O-Si) bonds give the material high heat resistance and flexibility.
-
Methyl Groups: the methyl groups bonded to silicon atoms give the polymer its water-repellent (hydrophobic) property.
-
n Value: represents the number of repeating units in the chain; as it increases, the product’s viscosity (flow) increases.
Why Our OH-Polymer Oils?
-
Wide Operating Range: full resistance to harsh temperature conditions and UV rays.
-
Excellent Detail: low post-cure shrinkage enables precise molding.

Mould Release Emulsion
Silicone emulsions are eco-friendly, easy-to-use products obtained by stabilizing silicone oils in water-based systems. Thanks to low VOC, odorless structure and homogeneous dispersion, they are widely preferred especially in mold release and polishing applications.
These emulsions enable easy demolding of especially plastic, rubber, metal and composite parts.
✔ Forms a thin film layer
✔ Prevents sticking to the mold surface
✔ Can be applied by spray, brush or dipping
✔ Works effectively even at extreme temperatures
Advantages of Water-Based Silicone Emulsions
Solvent-free, eco-friendly and safe use
Flawless release and smooth film on surfaces
Superior surface appearance with gloss and lubricity
Fast and clean release from molds
Easy application, minimum labor
Odorless, leaves no residue
